To keep your Huski products beautiful and allow them to be passed down through generations, we suggest you follow these care instructions below.
TEAK & MINDI WOOD
As all of our items are hand made, each individual piece varies in characteristics and colours, highlighting its authentic beauty of the wood. All of our products are completely sealed, but please note there is still a possibility the Teak will mark with oils/contact with liquid.
For cleaning we recommend using a warm damp cloth, no chemical based products as this can affect the composition and overall appearance of the wood. Polishing with high-grade bees wax is suggested to prevent the wood from drying out and to maintain its appearance. We suggest to use tablecloths & placemats when dining.
CANVAS
We use a natural high-quality heavy canvas for our chairs and lounge covers, which may vary in grain and natural markings.
We suggest spot cleaning with a damp cloth for the chairs as these are not removable. All covers on the lounge are removable and machine washable. Although our materials are pre-washed, please wash on a delicate cycle and only line dry to avoid shrinkage.
RATTAN
As all of our items are handmade, each individual piece varies in characteristics and any imperfections are the beauty of the material.
To clean we recommend using a warm damp cloth, no chemical based products as this can affect the composition and overall appearance of the rattan. Polishing with high-grade bees wax is suggested to prevent the rattan from drying out and to maintain its appearance.
For all of our items we recommend indoor use. If you wish to use outside it is important to keep out of direct sunlight, rain and covered from the elements to maintain its longevity.
